We have been dealing with the Anaesthetists Agency for almost 30 years and during that time we have always received an excellent service. Bookings are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner with excellent communications between staff and the hospital department. The paperwork for suggested doctors is presented in an easy to view format and confirmations followed up efficiently. Telephone communications are also carried out in a professional and friendly manner.

Since taking up my post five years ago I have found the performance of the Anaesthetists Agency excellent; in fact close to perfect. The requests for locum cover is always addressed immediately and any changes/cancellations dealt with efficiently. Paperwork is always followed shortly after confirmation by our department and emailed together with supporting documentation. The recruitment staff are always courteous and friendly whilst maintaining a professional approach.

Overall I am very satisfied with the service I receive from the Anaesthetists Agency. Feedback and prompt replacement is always done in advance - i.e 4-7 days notice with the name of a doctors who is replacing the regular doctor. I am happy with the paperwork and understand why there is so much due to the strict regulations on compliancy! I have used the agency for the past 3 years when I was appointed the post; I am aware the previous post holder used this agency for many years prior to this and the same service was received.
