• If you are applying based on a Post-Graduate Qualification, select option 2 and follow the instructions
• If you will be sitting PLAB, select option 3 and follow the instructions
• Once you have registered, you can submit your application via your GMC account

Attending an ID check

• If you apply based on a Post-Graduate Qualification, you will be invited to an ID check once your application is approved.

These take place at the GMC offices in London and in Manchester.

You must attend the ID check within 3 months of being invited, or your application will be withdrawn.

• If you are applying via PLAB and sat your PLAB 2 before October 2nd 2018, you will be invited to an ID check once your application is approved.

• If you are applying via PLAB and sat your PLAB 2 on or after October 2nd 2018, you will have your ID check when you take your PLAB 2 test.

You may be invited for a second ID check once your application has been approved, if the GMC require further information.
