A sister agency to Anaesthetists Agency, Skipton based Holt Doctors has been identified as one of London Stock Exchange’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain. The report is a celebration of the UK’s fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium sized businesses.

To be included in the list, companies needed to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years, significantly outperforming their industry peers.

Holt Doctors is a medical recruitment agency specialising in the provision of medical locums and permanent doctors to NHS Trusts, GP surgeries, private healthcare providers and the Armed Forces across the UK and Channel Islands.

Once part of PHC Luton Ltd, a division of the Pinnacle Staffing Group plc, Holt Doctors was bought in June 2011 by Dr Peter Gregory and Tracy Ward, who each have over 20 years experience in medical recruitment. The company started with only a small team of five but has rapidly grown since then and now has over 90 staff members at offices across the UK and Eastern Europe. Many of those working for Holt Doctors have worked with Ward and Gregory for many years at other organisations, a reflection of the fast paced and positive working environment that they have nurtured over the years.

The Anaesthetists Agency was aquired by Holt Doctors in March 2014 and has since increased their customer base and regularly supply to hospitals in the CCS framework. The company continued to operate as Anaesthetists Agency and brings in an established database of over 2,000 anaesthetic doctors.
