Our chosen Christmas Charity for 2019 was Support Dogs, a fantastic charity dedicated to increasing independence and quality of life for people with various medical conditions. They train and provide autism assistance dogs to reduce stress in social environments, seizure alert dogs for people with epilepsy and disability assistance dogs (read more about the great work that they do here).

We had a great time fundraising for our them over December with a variety of activities across the month to help raise money, which everyone at Anaesthetics Agency and Holt Doctors loved getting involved with.

Firstly, we had the lovely staff from Support Dogs come over with lovely Derek the dog, to take some of our Christmas card pictures. They brought in a variety of merch and had a little stall, so everyone had a chance to support them that way and donate, whilst picking up some early Christmas presents too!

We then had our internal advent calendar that local businesses kindly donated prizes for, where people bought tickets to be involved and we also had our ‘Merry Quizmas’ email quiz for all our doctors out there. Both of these ran through December up to Christmas and were enjoyed by everyone that took part.

After some counting, we're now pleased to announce that we raised a grand total of £1030 that will go straight to Support Dogs to support their work ??

It’s a long wait now until next Christmas when we can do it all over again!
